Stop Your Pet's Needless SUFFERING!

dog scratching from allergies
Dog with allergy
Excessive scratching, itching, biting or chewing at skin or paws, hair loss or redness is the most common symptom of allergies in dogs and allergies in cats which may include skin problems either in one area or on your pet's entire body that spreads or worsens. While there are a variety of other symptoms the root cause of the illness is toxic overload in your pet's system.

Take action now, to help cleanse and build your dog or cat's immune system. Simple steps can be taken to clean out the toxins from your pet's system. While medications and drugs give temporary relief, they also serve to mask and push symptoms further into your pet's system causing more damage and illness later on. That is in addition, to any nasty side effects these medications may have.

Natural Remedies and Home Remedies for Dogs and Cats with Allergies

For Temporary relief from itchy skin, rashes, skin irritations and redness due to allergies in dogs and cats: Give your dog or cat a lukewarm bath for 10 minutes with Aveeno® (colloidal oatmeal) to relieve itching. If you don't have Aveeno® you can use regular whole oatmeal (not instant). Be sure to dissolve the oatmeal first in a bowl with hot water. Apply to pet's coat when mixture is warm to the touch (not hot).

For temporary relief of itchy feet or licking paws in dogs: If your dog has itchy feet or they are licking their paws constantly, fill the tub with enough warm water to cover their feet, dissolve a couple cups of Epsom salts in the water or oatmeal (see above instructions) and soak dog's feet for 5-10 minutes.

Hot spot relief in dogs and cats in dogs and cats: Clean hot spots with witch hazel and apply Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, or Olive Oil directly to itchy areas. Unhydrogenated or nonhydrogenated Coconut oil is also said to help with itchy allergy skin, begin with 1/4 teaspoon and gradually work up to a full spoonful.

Great tips. Two of my three dogs have seasonal allergies and every spring we head off to the vets office to get some relief. It never seems to completely go away though and they are miserable. I am going to try some of your suggestions.

I have a 13 year old over weight female house cat whole has suffers allergies. We adopted her when she was 3, and she has been sick from the start. We did many years of vet visits ear/skin/sinus/gum infection, even dental surgery which was costly. Last visit they said not much else they really can do for her. Our heart breaks, she is such a cuddly lovable gal but suffering so much. Going to try the OATMEAL bath as soon as kids/hubby get home, it worked wonders for my allergic child. Now if she will let us bath her. Thanks and i hope it gives her a bit of comfort.
